August was a difficult month for
#145 Wyeth Jackson.

After crashing out of a great race in round 5,
she suffered a second crash during
an August testing day,
breaking two fingers on her right hand.
This was five days before round 6, and Jackson opted to push through and race.

With two broken fingers, she was
still able to pull off a win
in the Ladies of the Rockies,
and salvaged points in her other five classes.
Due to Jackson's determination
she has extended her lead in
the LOR championship,
and holds onto 2nd place in the
Amateur GTU championship.

Her doctors have determined surgery
is required and the fingers will be pinned.
Jackson will race again in Round 7 with
broken fingers and go into surgery
Monday after the races.

She hopes to be able to compete in the final
Round 8 post surgery, and still win the two championships she's fighting for.
